Ultra-High Pressure Water Jetting

20,000 PSI UHP Water Jetting for Concrete Remediation & Surface Preparation

RCR Services provides specialised Ultra-High Pressure (UHP) Water Jetting up to 20,000 PSI, supporting concrete remediation, surface preparation and coating removal projects.

Our trailer-mounted UHP equipment gives our team the capability to carry out controlled, high-pressure removal and preparation works across commercial, industrial and civil assets.

Available as a standalone service or as part of a complete RCR remediation scope, UHP Water Jetting allows us to take projects from initial removal and preparation through to concrete repair, waterproofing and protective coating systems.

What is UHP Water Jetting?

Ultra-High Pressure Water Jetting uses water delivered at extremely high pressure to remove unwanted material from concrete and other suitable substrates.

For remedial applications, it provides an effective alternative to conventional mechanical preparation and removal methods, particularly where controlled removal, thorough surface preparation and reduced impact on the surrounding substrate are important.

RCR's UHP equipment operates at pressures of up to 20,000 PSI, providing the power required for demanding remediation and preparation applications.

UHP Applications

Concrete Removal

Controlled removal of deteriorated, damaged or unsound concrete as part of concrete repair and remediation works.

Surface Preparation

Preparation of concrete surfaces prior to the application of repair mortars, protective coatings, waterproofing membranes and other remedial systems.

Coating & Membrane Removal

Removal of existing coatings, paints and suitable membrane systems to expose and prepare the underlying substrate.

Reinforcement Exposure

Removal of deteriorated concrete from around reinforcing steel to allow reinforcement to be inspected, prepared and treated prior to reinstatement. Take a look at our concrete spalling repair guide.

Hydro-Demolition

Targeted concrete removal using high-pressure water where traditional mechanical removal methods may be unsuitable or undesirable.

Industrial Cleaning & Preparation

High-pressure removal of stubborn surface build-up and contaminants from suitable concrete and industrial surfaces.

Why UHP?

Up to 20,000 PSI

High-pressure capability for demanding concrete remediation and surface preparation works.

Controlled Removal

Allows deteriorated or unwanted material to be targeted while limiting unnecessary removal of surrounding sound material.

Reduced Vibration

Water jetting reduces the reliance on impact-based mechanical removal methods, making it valuable on sensitive concrete structures.

Effective Surface Preparation

Creates a thoroughly cleaned and textured substrate ready for subsequent remedial systems.

Reduced Airborne Dust

The water-based process significantly reduces the airborne dust associated with dry mechanical preparation methods.

Integrated Remediation Solution

RCR can carry out the UHP preparation and continue with the subsequent concrete repair, waterproofing or protective coating works.

One Contractor. Complete Remediation Solution.

UHP Water Jetting isn't an isolated service at RCR.

It complements our existing capabilities in concrete repairs, structural remediation, waterproofing and protective coatings, allowing our team to manage multiple stages of the remediation process.

Depending on project requirements, RCR can provide:

UHP Water Jetting → Concrete Removal → Reinforcement Treatment → Concrete Repair → Waterproofing / Protective Coatings

This provides clients with a streamlined remediation solution under one experienced contractor.

Where Can UHP Be Used?
