OUR SOLUTION FOR
Caulfield Hospital
CASE STUDY
Objectives
Following our investigation of the Caulfield Hospital in Victoria, we were pleased to submit our comprehensive report and proposal for remedial roof works.
The existing roof condition had deteriorated, and an extensive amount of rust was visible due to the old age of the roof sheets. RCR was contracted to provide a solution to prevent any serious structural issues from developing as a result of damage and wear.
solutions
The damage was visible throughout the entire roof, indicating the necessity for a a full roof reseal to prevent any further damage and deterioration. We recommended to install two coats of liquid membrane to the entire roof area and all penetrations. In addition, we reinforced it with fiberglass. By carrying out this waterproofing membrane system, the hospital roof was also protected from water and wind entering the roof.
